“Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.” {Helen Keller}

  • That is some real truth there. One of the things I was pondering about while reading the Bible the other day was that one of the many things it does for us is give us a picture of how difficult like can be while at the same time proving how God is always there with us and for us. We aren’t promised a care-free and easy life. We are promised a rewarding one though, if we just don’t give into fear and instead embrace whatever the adventure brings, knowing that even at its worst we are not alone.
